3 x TIKI RECIPES (from SMUGGLER’S COVE Cocktail Book!)

The Smuggler’s Cove book is up there with my favourite cocktail books! It features plenty of cocktails, techniques and is incredibly informative – it should be on every aspiring cocktail bartender’s book shelf – especially if you love tiki and/or rum. I picked 3 random recipes from the book that I hadn’t tried previously that were quite different from one another to showcase some of the lesser known cocktails that are featured within the book.

PINATA
– 30ml Black Rum (1 oz)
– 30ml Lightly Aged Rum (1 oz)
– 30ml Ginger Liqueur (1 oz)
– 15ml Allspice Dram (0.5 oz)
– 90ml Pineapple Juice (3 oz)
– 30ml Lemon Juice (1 oz)
– 10ml Demerara Syrup (0.33 oz)

MONK’S RESPITE
– 45ml Gin (1.5 oz)
– 7.5ml Yellow Chartreuse (0.25 oz)
– 90ml Coconut Water (3 oz)
– 30ml Seltzer (1 oz)
– 15ml Lemon Juice (0.5 oz)
– 7.5ml Honey Syrup (0.25 oz)
– 1 dash of Orange Bitters

Note: in the video I accidentally said “Boker’s Bitters” when I actually meant “Brokers Gin”!

JAMAICAN MILK PUNCH
– 30ml Black Jamaican Rum (1 oz)
– 30ml Whole Milk (1 oz)
– 30ml Heavy Cream (1 oz)
– 15ml Demerara Syrup (0.25 oz)
– 6 drops of Vanilla Extract
– 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
