MAKING YOUR OWN TAHINI –
-depending on how much Tahini you want to make, you’ll use a larger or smaller amount of sesame seeds.
-we used 3 cups
-grind your seeds in a food processor or coffee grinder
–pour into a medium/large pan
-roast seeds until they start to brown
-pour all of the seeds into a food processor
-keep it running for about 10 minutes stopping occasionally to clean the sides
your tahini is done once it haws a runny consistency (similar to almond butter)
KETO BREAD ingredients
– 2 cups mixed nuts (crushed or processed)
– 1 cup flax seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
5 eggs (whole)
– 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1/4 cup of tahini
DIRECTIONS
– preheat oven to 320 degrees Fahrenheit
– line your bread tin with parchment paper (making sure you have xtra on the sides)
– put in oven for an hour
– after your hour is up, put a toothpick in the middle to make sure it comes out clean and your bread it done baking
– if your bread it not done, keep baking at 5 minute intervals (toothpick check every 5 minutes)
– once its out of the oven, let cool for 30-45 minutes
– enjoy!
