APRICOT SOUR – Epic Whiskey Cocktail Recipe!!

The Apricot Sour is a slight variation on a classic whiskey sour – the recipe is featured on a bottle of Marionette Apricot Brandy liqueur (which I highly recommend!). You can also stick to the standard whiskey sour recipe and add apricot jam/preserve but I highly recommend using a good quality Apricot Brandy to compliment the whiskey.

INGREDIENTS
– 40mL Whiskey (1 1/3 oz)
– 20mL Apricot Brandy (2/3 oz)
– 25mL Fresh Lemon Juice (5/6 oz)
– 10mL Simple Syrup (1/3 oz)
– Half an Egg White
– Dash of Angostura Bitters

METHOD
1. Combine all ingredients except the bitters into your cocktail shaker
2. Dry shake (without ice)
3. Wet shake
4. Strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned glass
5. Finish with a dash of aromatic bitters
