Chef Ruchi Bharani makes tea time time snacks that you can munch on, call it Indian version of sweet nachos. Learn how to make this simple and easy to make homemade munchies.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
Salt
Flour
Method:
– Put sugar, water and put them to boil
– Mix well and wait till all the sugar dissolves
– Pour ghee and let the syrup boil for 2 — 3 mins on low flame
– Take off the boiling syrup off the flame and pour it in a bowl and let it cool
– Add pinch of salt, enoughflour to make a soft kneaded dough
– Take a portion of the dough and roll it into 2 ‘mm thick roti
– Cut them into small square or diamond shaped pieces
– Deep fry them till golden brown in color in medium flame
– Once done, take them out on kitchen towel.
– Cool them and store them in air tight container
