Fifty Shades of Grey Vodka-Pomegranate Cocktail Recipe

West Hollywood’s The Church Key shows us its sultry recipe for a vodka-pomegranate cocktail inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey. Its stunning creation involves a siphon and a foam top. We tweaked the recipe just a tad so you can still achieve a frothy layer without the fancy equipment. Now go ahead and shake one (or more) at home to loosen up before heading out to the theater.

Pink Lips
Adapted from The Church Key

INGREDIENTS

1 large egg white
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
1 1/2 ounces pear-flavored vodka, like Grey Goose La Poire
1/2 ounce pomegranate juice
Ice
Pomegranate seeds, for garnish
1 ounce Champagne

DIRECTIONS

In a cocktail shaker, combine egg white, lime juice, simple syrup, vodka, and pomegranate juice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Add ice, then shake again.

Strain into a coupe glass, and top with Champagne. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
