How to make a Fernet Flip

The basic Flip recipe incorporates a spirit or fortified wine, whole egg and sugar whilst a Fernet Flip incorporates both the very bitter and herbaceous liquor, Fernet-Branca, and sweet vermouth, in equal parts.
INGREDIENTS
– 45mL Fernet-Branca
– 45mL Sweet Vermouth
– 5mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
– 2 Dashes of The Bitter Truth / Bittermen’s Xocolatl Mole Bitters
– Whole Egg
HOW TO
1. Dry shake the whole egg (see video below)
2. Add remaining ingredients
3. Shake & double strain into a chilled, stemmed cocktail glass
4. Garnish with grated nutmeg
