I have done a few cocktails with beer in them but never beer cocktails so this week I will make the most well known beer cocktials. I think the last one may end up being the drink of the summer.

Michelada (aka Red Beer):
Cut a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of your glass
Rim you glass with Tajin spice mix (can sub salt)
Add ice to your glass
2 oz. -or- 60 ml. Tomato Juice
1 oz . -or- 30 ml. Lime Juice
Tabasco to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Tajin to taste
Give it a stir
Top off with Tecate (or mexican lager)

Shandygaff:
Equal Parts
Smithwick’s Red Ale
Ginger Beer

Radler:
Equal parts
Harp Lager
Angostura Lemon Lime Soda

Black Velvet:
Equal Parts
Sparkling wine (or champagne if you have it)
Guinness (or other stout)

Half and Half:
Equal Parts Ale and Stout

Brooklyn Tai:
In Shaker
.75 oz. -or- 22 ml. Lime Juice
.75 oz. -or- 22 ml. Orgeat
2 dashes angostura bitters
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Appleton Estate Rum
Add ice and shake
Strain into tiki mug
Top off with Brooklyn Lager
Garnish with mint and lime wheel
