Butter chakli or rice chakli is prepared especially during festivals like Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Krishna Janmashtami also this can be made any time and devoured with a cup of chai, it is simple, easy, and tasty recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
Water – 2 cups
Butter – 2 tbsp
Salt as needed
Hing – 1/4th tsp
Rice flour – 2 cups
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Black sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Oil for frying

Everybody likes to munch something and when it comes to munching the best snack is obviously chips. Banana chips are a popular snack in Kerala (South India). Kerala banana chips or nendran chips are one of the most commonly available snacks across the South of India. These banana wafers are made from green raw banana or kaccha Kela and the final outcome of the recipe is a deep yellow color. It is super easy to make as it requires only 1 ingredient to make i.e raw banana (Nendran/Ethapazham), coconut oil to deep fry, and salt to taste.
INGREDIENTS:
Raw Banana – 3 (nendran breed)
Water – 1/2 cup
Rock salt – 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil for frying

Kodubale is a traditional snack from Karnataka. It is a spicy and crispy snack that you can prepare for festivals like Krishna Janmashtami and Ganesh Chathurthi and is also a perfect tea-time snack.
INGREDIENTS:
Coconut – 3 tbsp
Rice flour – 1 cup
Semolina – 1/2 cup
Kashmiri red chili – 3
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 – 2 strings
Hing – 1/4th tsp
Water as needed
White sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Hot oil – 4 tbsp
Oil for frying
