These are the ingredients, doesn’t really matter when to add which ingredients, as a matter of fact, you can add all of the following ingredients right after grating the carrots, but make sure to saute the chopped onion separately and add it to the mixture as well, order does not matter in this simple recipe.
Ingredients:
7-10 medium-sized carrots, grated into long, thin strands
3 large cloves of garlic, peeled and minced into a fine paste
1 medium white or yellow onion, chopped
2 tablespoons ground coriander seeds
2-4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2-4 tablespoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon of salt or to taste
1½ teaspoons of sugar
Mix all the ingredients except for the onions which should be sautéed and added at the end of the process. Keep refrigerated for 4-5 hours before serving, this salad will go well with any type of dish, a regular everyday salad!
