Whiskey Sour cocktail recipe
Created in the mid-1800s. The Whiskey Sour is now commonly made with an egg white for added texture, although this was not part of the original recipe. When made with egg white ,the drink is technically known as a Boston Sour.

– 1 oz / 60 ml bourbon or rye whiskey
– 0.75 oz / 22.5 ml lemon juice
– 0.75 oz / 22.5 ml simple syrup
– 0.5 oz / 15 ml egg white
– 1 dash of Angostura bitters
– Garnish: skewered maraschino and an orange slice
