Steven’s chili recipe:
1 lb ground beef (needs to have some fat in it!)
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1.5-2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
1/2 tsp cumin
1 jalapeno, diced (optional)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
Brown ground beef in large skillet over med-hi heat. Drain if you’d like (Steven didn’t). Add all seasonings, jalapeno, and tomato sauce. Cover and turn the heat to med-low to simmer for at least 10-15 minutes. Serve using a slotted spoon (especially if you didn’t drain the excess grease off).

STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE
1 Angel food cake (store bought or homemade, cooled)
1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
8 oz block cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 qt fresh strawberries, sliced
Tear cake into bite sized pieces and place in the bottom of 9×13 pan. Put sliced strawberries in medium bowl (add a little sugar to them if you’d like) and add strawberry pie filling. Mix well and spread evenly over the angel food cake layer. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy. Add powdered sugar to cream cheese and beat again until mixed well. Put cream cheese mixture on top of strawberry layer. Lastly, top with whipped topping, cover and put in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
