VIEUX CARRÉ
Created in 1938 by Walter Bergeron, the then head bartender at what is now the Carousel bar at the Monteleone Hotel, New Orleans.
– 1 oz (30ml) cognac
– 1 oz (30ml) rye whiskey
– 1 oz (30ml) sweet vermouth
– 0.25 oz (7.5ml) Benedictine
– 2 dashes Angostura bitters
– 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
ENZONI
First created by Vincenzo Errico whilst tending bar at Milk & Honey, NYC. Vincenzo was trained by – the legendary Dick Bradsell (creator of the Espresso Martini).
– 5 green grapes, muddled
– 1 oz (30ml) gin
– 1 oz (30ml) Campari
– 0.75 oz (22.5ml) lemon juice
– 0.5 oz (15ml) simple syrup
