Fish sambal in Tamil | Paleo recipes | மீன் சம்பல் | Fish masala | Jo kitchen

This Fish recipe is really very tasty and simple as usual. use Kashmiri chilli for making the masala, that gives real red colour. So don’t use any artificial kesari color to make it bright. And added red chilli powder for the spiciness.

This type of sambal can be done for the vegetarian people using paneer instead of fish.
Also here I used salmon fish but doesn’t matter if we take any other fish , better should be a boneless fish.

Ingredients ;

300g fish
3-4Tbsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
salt 11/2 tsp
coriander leaves 2 Tbsp
for making the masala :
2 big tomatoes chopped
1 big onion
4-5 kashmiri chilli
2 inch ginger
4 garlic pods

Direction:
Grind ” making masala” and keep the paste and keep it aside.

Make the fish into cubes.

Mix little salt into it.

Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish pieces.

And keep it aside.

Add the ground masala into the same pan and saute for 2 mins.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt , saute.

Add the fried fish into id , add coriander , mix gently.

Cover the pan with a lid over low flame for 11/2 mins.

Serve hot with any food.
