CRUSTED PARMESAN FISH (LOW CARB/KETO FRIENDLY)

This Crusted Parmesan Fish is super flavourful and so easy to make, it just might become your new favourite way of making fish! You can use whatever fish you have on hand as this recipe works for most types, however, I usually prefer a white, easy to eat fillet such as sole (used in this recipe), basa, cod, halibut or rockfish. Since the freshly grated parmesan cheese replaces the need for any breadcrumbs, this simple fish dinner just so happens to be Keto friendly, Low Carb and Gluten Free so it can happily be enjoyed (and loved!) by all.

The time it will take for your fish to cook is going to depend on its thickness. I could only get my hands on super tiny (paper thin) fillets from my local fish market but I recommend going for something at least 4-6 oz. in size. For smaller fillets like mine, you don’t need more than 5 or so minute in the oven whereas larger ones will take up to 12 minutes. You can check for doneness if the fish easily flakes with a fork.

TO MAKE THIS SIMPLE BUT FLAVORFUL KETO FRIENDLY CRUSTED PARMESAN FISH, YOU WILL NEED:

4 Fish Fillets, ~4-6 oz. each
3/4 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Dried Parsley
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Fresh Chopped Parsley and Lemon Wedges, for serving, optional
