Today’s recipe is homemade Potato cracker…..it is a popular pocket snack throughout Asian countries.
Making this cracker at home is very simple and easy but little time consuming. Because the cracker chips need to be sun-dried until firm and harden to achieve maximum crunchiness. It takes about 8-12 hours under maximum sunlight.
But you can dehydrate these sliced chips in oven (50 to 60 degrees celsius with fan) for about 8 to 10 hours.
And these dried chips can be stored in an airtight container for about 5 to 6 months.
Ingredients :
Boiled-mashed potato – 1/2 cup
Cornflour/potato starch/tapioca starch – 1/2 cup
Chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Tasting salt – 1/4 tsp (optional)
warm water – 1/4 cup
