Southside Gin Cocktail Recipe

How to make a Southside
Today we are making a Southside, a classic gin-based sour recipe. Refreshingly balanced and with the addition of fresh mint.
Apparently originating out of the Twenty-One Club in New York whilst a long version over crushed ice were being served during prohibition on the southside of Chicago.

INGREDIENTS
* 60mL Aviation Gin (http://bit.ly/1Le7bJm)
* 25mL Fresh Lime Juice
* 20mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
* 4-5 Mint Leaves

DIRECTIONS
1. Fill a Boston glass with ice
2. Add Aviation gin, lime juice, sugar syrup and mint leaves
3. Shake and double strain into a chilled coupe glass
