This version of a Brandy Fix was published in Harry Johnson’s Bartender’s Manual and is a tasty example of the classic “fix” cocktail style which were popular in the 19th century.
INGREDIENTS
– 60mL Brandy
– Dash of Green Chartreuse
– 15mL Fresh Lime Juice
– 15mL Pineapple Syrup
– 7.5mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
– Dash of Soda Water
HOW TO
1. Add all the ingredients except the soda water to your cocktail shaker
2. Shake & strain over fresh ice into an old fashioned
3. Add a dash of soda
4. Garnish with seasonal fruit or a twist of lemon
